Support depends on what Instagram makes publicly available when you submit the link. The service does not unlock private content or bypass access controls.
When a link fails
Four checks that solve most problems
1. Confirm the link is from Instagram
Paste the full URL from instagram.com. Text copied with the link is fine only after you remove everything except the URL.
2. Open the link while signed out
If the media is not visible without access to the account, the downloader cannot retrieve it. Private content stays private.
3. Check whether the media still exists
Deleted posts and expired Stories no longer expose a file. A link can remain in a message after its media has disappeared.
4. Try again after a short pause
Instagram can temporarily limit automated requests. If a public link suddenly fails, wait and retry rather than repeatedly submitting it.

Can FastDL download from a private account?
No. The downloader is designed for media that is publicly accessible to the server. It does not bypass privacy settings or ask for your Instagram password.
Which file format will I receive?
The result depends on the media Instagram provides. Photos are commonly returned as image files and videos as MP4 files, but exact format and quality can vary by source.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required. Paste a supported public Instagram link and use the result shown on the page.
Does FastDL store download records?
FastDL keeps limited technical, rate-limit, and download records, including the request IP address, to operate and protect the service. These records are automatically removed after seven days. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
May I reuse a downloaded photo or video?
A download does not transfer copyright or permission. Save or reuse media only when you own it, have the creator’s permission, or another lawful basis applies.
